The Government today notified procedures which need to be followed for the transaction of Government Business. The order specifies matters which need to be brought before the state cabinet which shall include change in policy or administrative system or issuance of Ordinance in a matter.
While the matters which shall be submitted directly to Chief Minister through Chief Secretary shall include the postings and promotions of Chief Secretary, administrative Secretaries, HoDs, IGs, DIGs, DCs and SSPs.Also the matters related to the suspension and dismissal of officers and their extensions shall also be presented before the CM through Chief Secretary.Most ofthe routine matters shall be looked after the CM through the Chief Secretary according to the newtransaction of businesrs rules in the state of J&K.
The state Government also notified constitution of StateAdministrative Council headed by the Governor and consisting of Two advisors while the Chief Secretary has been appointed as the Secretary of the Council.
